LANGUAGE COURSES We also offer the opportunity to learn the Spanish language. A wide range of courses are offered, which meet any kind of personal needs. Our intensive Spanish course offers different levels, from beginners up to advanced speakers. INTENSIVE SPANISH COURSE *Five different levels. * Focus on grammar and vocabulary, listening, speaking and writing skills. * Introduction to Spanish culture, history and literature. Approach to Spanish music, cinema, newspapers and folklore. BUSINESS SPANISH COURSE *Four different levels. * Focus on business contents and skills: presentations, telephone conversations, dealing with international customers, negotiating a contract or sale *Special emphasis on the learner s working field. All our teachers are native speakers. They are highly motivated and friendly staff. They will be your tutors during all your stay, supporting you in anything you need. All courses start every Monday. Average class size: 5-8 students. Communicative and learner- centred approach. Possibility of individual classes for improving a specific skill. Intensive fluency speaking lessons two afternoons per week (optional). Students progress is continuously assessed by through homework and assignments. A certificate will be issued according to the type of course, level, hours and level of proficiency.

OUR CITY On the shore of the Cantabrian sea, Gijón offers an appealing combination of shipping tradition, monumental heritage and modern urban planning. Located in the centre of the Asturian coastline, the built-up area extends both sides of the primitive Roman settlement on the headland of Santa Catalina. 90 % of the population concentrates on this area while the remaining 10 % live in the 25 parishes of the Borough.
