2016-17 BCHS Advanced Studies Review Schedule Dr. Brown AP Psychology The review session will be approximately one week long during class time: April 24-29. Students will be using three review work books that will be given to each student. Dr. Bruland AP French The teacher will be doing continuous review for AP exams from now until the exam via practice tests and mock exam assignments. Mr. Carufe AP Chemistry In-class review every day starting Quarter 4 until the test day. Students will be doing sample multiple choice and free response questions. Mr. Corbett, Mr. Mujica, and Mr. Schumacher AICE General Paper Students are writing a finalized AICE essay for April 3, then reviewing the AICE rubric with sample papers that week and conducting peer-review workshops on that paper the next week. For the final three weeks, there will be a weekly timed essay, followed by peer-review workshops. Mr. Crowley AP Computer Science A In-class review every day starting Quarter 4 until the test day. Students will be doing sample multiple choice and free response questions. Ms. Gilliam AP Spanish In-class review every day starting Quarter 4 until the test day. Listening comprehension sessions are every Monday. Interpersonal writing sessions are every Tuesday. Persuasive essays are due on Wednesdays. Reading comprehension sessions are every Thursday. Mr. Humphrey AP World History APHG Vocabulary review started in January and will finish in April. Short Response writing review started last quarter and will finish in April. The class will finish the Industry and Service chapter on March 29, 2017. The class will finish the Urban chapter on April 7, 2017. The class will start the APHG Review on April 10, 2017. The teacher is also reviewing with students after school if they want the extra review time.
Ms. Szilagyi AP Environmental Science The teacher will be doing review sessions for APES the whole last week of April. The teacher will do a review session the day before the test Sunday, April 30, from 2-4 pm at BCHS. Mr. Walters AICE European History Beginning the week of March 27, students will be writing an essay sample test question in class at least one day each week. In the three weeks prior to the May 5 exam, there will be an extensive course review in class.
