Applicants must have completed 9 th grade or higher by the end of the 2016 2017 school year. Our volunteers will assist the summer camp teachers and Challenger staff. Volunteers work with our campers to get them excited and engaged in STEM related activities throughout the week! If you are excited about STEM and working with kids, then this is a great volunteer opportunity! Volunteers will sign up for week long sessions of camp. Volunteers can sign up for multiple camp weeks. The camp weeks do not need to be consecutive. Camp sessions run Monday Friday. Monday Thursday are camp session days. Friday is a clean up and organization day. Volunteers need to be available for the entire week: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Please be aware that the camp sessions change location every week, but Friday will always be at the Challenger Center.
