ABOUT DISTANCE LEARNING As you may already know, provides amazing flexibility in allowing you to ctinue your educati without traveling to campus several times per week. This can save you time, travel costs, and fit nicely into your already busy life! RICHFIELD BLENDED LEARNER SUPPORT TO STUDENTS All students receive a free Tablet PC, preloaded with study material, including a 2 year warranty, 16 gig memory, BluTooth Keyboard, support lectures, e-books & e-libraries and 500Mb mthly data for 12 mths. The introducti of technology into the curriculum has transformed Teaching & creating an enhanced student experience. RGI has migrated to the Moodle Student Management System, which is also used by major universities of the world. On moodle, the students can download their study guides, complete line assignments and can directly access additial learning ctent from through Pressreader (newspapers and magazines); Springer (journal articles), etc. The migrati from lecturer centredness to student centeredness places the student at the centre of the learning experience. The tablet initiative has seen RGI reduce ts of printed paper thereby 1

Since 2012, the integrati of the Tablet PC into the Richfield rollout made an immediate impact the academic success rates of our students, with a marked 15% increase in the success rate of Degree students (from 76% to 91%) in the inaugural year 2012. This success rate has been maintained over the past 6 years with all Higher Educati Qualificatis and surpasses any other registered instituti, both internatially and locally. 3. INDUCTION AND ORIENTATION WORKSHOP All students will be inducted at Workshop One, to be held the 17 th March 2018 (as per the Academic Calendar 2018). It is in the best interest of the student to attend all workshops held. The Tablet PC is preloaded with the following including, accessing moodle and a guide to using the Tablet PC. 4.
