MISSION STATEMENT The Kiel Soccer Club serves Kiel and surrounding communities with opportunities to engage in recreational soccer for our youth of all abilities. We are a charitable organization We run a spring and fall soccer season We have 2 Soccer Complexes Karls Field: City Park on Hwy 67 & 57 Fields of Dreams: Privately owned by the club Meggars Rd KSC and coaches are all volunteers
2017 Initiatives Completed: -Updated 20 year old Constitution to allow all families to have a vote -Added new coaching coordinator, referee coordinator, treasurer, and building and grounds coordinator -Updated U8-U10 uniforms to Dri-fit shirt 2018 Goals: -Strengthen our coaching staff -Install new treasurer Replace ProControl fencing Replace roof of Field of Dreams Complex shelter -New FanWear designs and clothing -Expanded parking space available -Replaced water boiler tank

SPRING SETUP Keep a watch for emails in regards to getting our fields ready for play! We will need 20-30 people to help move 16 goals, line fields, and attach nets at Karls Fields and Field of Dreams The date will be for the beginning of April but depends when the fields are dry enough for us to get on them Stay tuned!

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS
WHAT IS MY ROLE? Parents primary role is to be the SUPPORT TEAM! Your child in learning a new skill/game: ask if they had fun after a game not pick out mistakes have them dressed, with water, and at practice/game on time make sure they get a good night s sleep the night before Cheer for all kids! They are all learning. This is YOUR job! Their coach and team: help coordinate snack schedules help gather up flags/balls allow coaches to coach; referees to ref.these are not your roles Be an example to other parents, other clubs, and to your kids! The club Help out concessions; tournament; take a position; promote our club through sharing photos, Facebook!
REFEREES 75% of referees are under 16 years old Many quit due to stress of sideline behavior of adults Let s provide a tolerant, respectful, safe environment for these referees to use as a training ground so can keep up our reputation of having Awesome Refs in Kiel!

SEROOGY S SPRING FUNDRAISER Chocolate bars, fudge, gift boxes, and specialty coffees. Easter Holiday Delicious chocolate Easter bunnies, lambs, and eggs in time for the Easter Holiday Orders and payments need to be returned by Saturday, March 10th for us to get them to you before Easter.
DELIVERY Drop off boxes will be available at the Indoor Soccer Clinics at the Middle School in both gyms from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 10th. Otherwise contact Laura Markham to make other arrangements. Delivery to be Friday, March 23rd 5-7 pm.
