School of Kinesiology and Nutritional Science October 1, 2017 Dear Student: Thank you for your interest in our Masters of Science in Nutrition and/or our Coordinated Dietetics Program (CDP). This year there is a combined application, meaning you can apply for the MS and the CDP using one application. All applications for Fall 2018 are due February 15, 2018. The CDP is a graduate program. To be considered for admission to the program, applicants must also be admitted to the MS program. Please note, you may also be accepted to our MS program and not the CDP. The first step is to apply to the university s graduate admission system through Cal State Apply at https://www2.calstate.edu/apply The second step is to complete the attached supplemental application for the MS/CDP. The MS program is typically a 2 year program while the CDP program is typically a 3 year program, depending on the graduate coursework and program. The student must complete the CDP program and earn a Master of Science in Nutritional Science degree prior to taking the Registration Exam for Dietitians. Students with an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science or Dietetics may complete the MS within a shorter time frame, based upon evaluation of their transcripts and acceptance into the program. If you are an international student, further information on applying can be found here http://www.calstatela.edu/admissions/international-graduate-application-and-admission Both the University and the supplemental applications must be postmarked February 15, 2018.
