Team members: Drsey Armstrng, Jhn Burgess, Cdy Cnnr, Rbin Cunningham, Ellen Gundlach, Timthy Newby, Natasha Watkins We appreciate the Digital Educatin ffice s recgnitin and encuragement f excellent nline teaching. Our cmmittee sees the gal f these awards nt nly as celebrating excellence, but als using these excellence award winners as mentrs t thers in the Digital Educatin cmmunity. We recmmend that the award winners be celebrated in the wider university cmmunity, nt just as part f the Digital Educatin cmmunity here at Purdue. We encurage Digital Educatin t start accepting nminatins (self-nminatins are welcme) fr the awards and hnrs listed belw in February, allwing 4 weeks fr submissins. Winners will be ntified in late March 2017 and hnred at the awards banquet scheduled fr April 25, 2017. This has been apprved by the Annual University Awards Cmmittee. We hpe that the award winners will be hnred with a plaque r tken f achievement and a mnetary award. Each award amunt shuld be equal and the amunt will be left up t the Digital Educatin Department based n funds available fr this pprtunity. If a team shuld win the award, the mnetary stipend wuld be divided amng all the award winners. We wuld like t re-establish a ne-day, annual, public Purdue Digital Educatin cnference, perhaps during Natinal Distance Learning week.
