FAAP was founded in 1947 as a small foundation designed to develop Fine Arts. Today, it is considered one of the most respected higher education institutions in Brazil. Its main campus in São Paulo city houses the following schools: Business, Fine Arts, Communication and Marketing, Law, Economics and International Relations and Engineering, besides FAAP Graduate School and FAAP High School. São Paulo is the one of the largest cities in the world, with an approximate area of 1,509 km² and 11,8 million inhabitants. It is also the most important financial center in the country.
