The courses encompassed in the A.S. degree from Bucks must be completed within the three years preceding matriculation at USciences. The USciences Letter of Intent form has to be submitted at least one year prior to transferring to USciences. Three students per academic year will be admitted to the USciences Professional Bridge Pre Pharmacy Early Assurance program under this agreement. USciences may, at its discretion, extend the number of admitted students above three based on anticipated additional seats availability in the PharmD program and transfer student credentials. PP90 Pharmacy Orientation ( cr) will be waived for students transferring to USciences after earning the A.S. in Biomedical Sciences (05). However, the total credits required for graduation (includes transfer credits) will remain unchanged. 2

A checklist for the rd year Professional Bridge Pre Pharmacy EA program at USciences, based on current approved curriculum, is provided in the following table. Transfer credits for the following courses will not be accepted as part of the bridge program, these courses need to be completed at USciences. [Note: To be admitted in the PharmD program students in the Professional Bridge Pre Pharmacy EA must be full time during their transitional year (i.e. take minimum of 2 credits per semester) and meet the minimum USciences overall GPA and math/science GPA admission requirements. The following courses were identified by the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy as the pre requisite courses that must be used to calculate the USciences overall GPA and math/science GPA, therefore they must be taken at USciences.] THIRD YEAR AT USCIENCES PROFESSIONAL BRIDGE PRE PHARMACY EA FALL CH20 Organic Chemistry I CH20 Organic Chemistry I Lab BS0 Human Anatomy and Physiology I PC0 Virtual Physiology Lab I PY20* Introductory Physics I 4 SPRING CH202 Organic Chemistry II CH204 Organic Chemistry II Lab BS Human Anatomy and Physiology II PC04 Virtual Physiology Lab II ST0 Biostatistics Elective (course approved for GenEd skill: Ethics) * Students are highly recommended to take PY202 Introductory Physics II in the Spring semester Students transferred under this agreement who have earned USciences overall GPA of.0, Math/Science GPA of.0, passed the PERC interview and completed PCP admission requirements (Signed Technical Standards, Statement of Personal and Professional Goals, PCP Academic Integrity Affidavit, Valid Social Security Number) will be admitted in the first professional year (P) of the PharmD program. Students admitted into the PharmD program will earn the BS degree in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Studies after the completion of the second professional year (P2), provided all the University requirements for the BS program are met. Students transferred under this agreement who are not admitted to the professional year of the PharmD program by the end of the transitional year may complete a 4 th year at USciences to earn a bachelor s degree and subsequently be admitted in the first professional year (P) of the PharmD program if all the criteria for admission are successfully met.
