Please do not delay in making an appointment to ensure a suitable time. Only sample sizes of these garments are stocked. These garments need to be ordered and paid for by the following dates. Uniform Required by Closing dates for orders Term 1 2015 31 October 2014 Term 2 2015 17 Feb. 2015 Term 3 2015 5 May 201 NB The athletic and swimming sports are held in Term 1 and a tracksuit will be required for these events. 2) Summer uniform is worn during Terms 1 and 4. Winter uniform is worn during Terms 2 and 3. 3) Apart from when formal uniform is required all Y 9 & 10 students wear shorts in the winter terms. Year 11, 12 and 13 boys can wear trousers during the winter terms.
4) The Uniform Shop is not open in holiday breaks during the school year, so the next term s uniform requirements must by met by the end of the previous term. For example all winter uniform needs to be purchased before the end of Term 1. 5) All uniform and gear must be clearly labelled using name tapes and / or indelible ink. BOARDING PARENTS PLEASE NOTE. IRON ON LABELS CANNOT BE USED ON CLOTHING AS THEY COME OFF IN THE SCHOOL LAUNDRY. LABELS MUST BE STITCHED ON. SHOES MUST BE NAMED. For Boarding Students please observe the following naming procedure: Blazers, jerseys, shirts inside centre back of collar Trousers, shorts, underwear middle centre of waistband Grey socks, sports socks top outside edge for turning under when worn White socks name on inside Trouser shortening and mending. There is a service available through the shop. A $15 charge will apply. A jersey repair service is also available charges applicable. 8) Payment can be by cash / cheque or eftpos which includes the use of credit cards. During the term uniform purchases may be put on disbursements. This is the parent s choice and therefore their responsibility to monitor spending. Accounts are not itemised. However, if you have any query re the account, disbursement forms are kept at the Uniform Shop so please contact shop staff directly rather than the Accounts office. Uniform shop staff would appreciate a phone call or email re uniform needs if a parent can not be present. 12) The Uniform Shop also functions as the Stationery Shop. All Year 9 students are issued with a bulk lot of stationery on the first school day. Other Year groups are issued with a stationery requirement list on the first day of school and purchase according to need. Lists are recorded on the school website. The shop also stocks basic toiletries, batteries, mouth guards for the boarders. 13) Bus tickets. Term bus passes and ten trip tickets for the Masterton / Rathkeale trip are purchased at the Uniform Shop. All students travelling on the bus need a ticket for this leg this includes South Wairarapa students who purchase their South Wairarapa to Masterton ticket direct from Tranzit. All orders for Term bus passes for Term 1 must be received by Friday 16th January 2015 These will be available for collection in the week prior to school starting. Tickets can either be paid for in cash or put on disbursements. However, with any of these tops the jersey and blazer MUST be worn. The students are not permitted to wear either jacket or track top or scarves in the classrooms. Sports Uniform Participation in summer and winter sport is compulsory. PE Uniform: Compulsory for all Y9 and Y10 students, Y11, 12, 13 students optional.
