Semester 1 2 3 4 5 6 Business Management Electives Economics Languages Quantative Methods Internship Thesis Throughout the first 4 semesters, the entire curriculum is taught in English and includes mandatory language classes depending on your individual background. In the final 2 terms you may then specialize by choosing from a variety of both English and German electives and by completing your seminar as well as your Bachelor thesis. The study program is based on the academic standards of the European Community and courses are valued according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Zulassungsvoraussetzungen Admission requirements All applicants must be eligible to attend a higher education institution in Germany. For German applicants, eligibility is established by their Abitur. International applicants must have their eligibility determined by uni-assist e.v. see below. Qualified applicants who are currently ineligible to attend a university in Germany may attain eligibility by successfully passing an assessment test at the preparatory college. International applicants may apply for a foundation year at the preparatory college to obtain access to higher education in Germany. Bewerbung Application The admission to the Business Economics program is currently limited by quota (Uni-NC). Applicants who obtained their access to higher education in Germany (i.e. Abitur) must submit their application to MLU until 15.7. Applicants who obtained their access to higher education abroad (i.e. high school diploma or A-levels) must apply via www.uni-assist.de/en until 30.6. Please note that the MLU reevaluates the quota of its study programs on an annual basis. Please check www.studienangebot.uni-halle.de around May to see if the quota for your program of choice has been lifted or maintained. Applicants will be selected by the qualifications displayed in their submitted documents. As there will be no personal interviews during the selection procedure, we encourage you to dilligently fill out your application to fully reflect your eligibility for the program.
