Direct School Admission (DSA) to Secondary One

What is DSA? As part of MOE's move towards a more flexible and broad-based education system.

What is DSA? The DSA-Sec Exercise is not a centralised posting exercise conducted by MOE.

Why DSA? To promote holistic education by giving participating secondary schools greater flexibility in selecting students while holding to the key principles of transparency and meritocracy.

Secondary Schools offering DSA Schools offering an integrated programme (IP Schools) Independent schools (IS) Autonomous schools (AS) Schools with niche programmes approved by MOE (Niche Schools)

Direct School Admission (DSA) Under DSA, schools may admit students using criteria other than PSLE results. This allows for a more diverse range of student achievements and talents to be recognised.
