Graduate Fellows Rhema Anazonwu Rhema is from Houston, Texas and is the second of five children. She is a proud University of Texas Longhorn alum with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Rhema served two AmeriCorps terms at the United Way of Greater Houston. During her terms of service, she worked with elementary and middle school students involved in a peer-mentoring program. Since making the move to the Brown School to complete her MSW with a concentration in Children, Youth and Families, Rhema has enjoyed exploring her new city with her dog, Opelusa. Rhema is thrilled to be contributing to the College Prep team, and is excited for all of the things she's yet to learn from our Scholars! Trevy Augustin Trevy is from Granite City, Illinois and attends the Brown School, where she is pursuing a Masters of Social Work. Following her education, she wants to work in a way that will dismantle the barriers blocking marginalized youth in accessing quality education. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba, cooking, TV series, and spending quality time with her 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Ilok. She is delighted to work alongside the talented College Prep staff in preparing St Louis' brightest minds in their pursuit of higher education.

Alana Flowers Alana recently received her MSW degree from the Brown School of Social Work in May of 2017. The motivating force behind all of her endeavors is her 7-year-old daughter, Addyson. She is thoroughly enjoying the College Prep Program and building relationships with the scholars and contributing to their academic success. She is currently the Administrative Coordinator for Pre-College Programs at Washington University. Akua Forkuo-Sekyere Akua received her Master s in Public Health at Washington University in May of 2017. Though, she grew up in the American Southeast, Akua is strongly connected to immigrant experiences in America. Akua studied Political Science and Africana Studies at Wellesley College in Boston, Massachusetts. Besides her academic interests, Akua likes to express herself creatively through art projects, and enjoys reading, movies, travelling, food, and the list goes on. She's very excited to have the opportunity to help high school students in St. Louis on their path to accomplish their goals in higher education!
