COVER FEATURE The University of Chicago Medicine Center for Care and Discovery, Chicago, IL......is the Chicago office s most prominent health care project. This 1,200,000 SF project is the University s main hospital and houses 28 state-of-the-art operating rooms, more than 100 prep and recovery rooms, and multiple specialized areas including radiology, bronchoscopy, and gastrointestinal suites. The facility also includes high tech diagnostic machines including several CT scanners and an MRI suite. JV Contractors: University of Chicago Rafael Vinoly Architects Cannon Design HDR Gilbane

Vernon Hills, Illinois New construction of a 15,000 SF outpatient surgical center. The building s program includes three surgical suites, one procedure room and 14 recovery stations and is home to surgeons who perform procedures ranging from ear, nose and throat procedures to orthopedic surgery. Surgical Care Affiliates, LLC The Burrell Group Hopkinsville, Kentucky SouthLand worked with a highly collaborative design team to complete this 14,000 SF, Express Imaging Center that integrates MRI, CT scan, radiography, and mammography, and offers a mobile blood draw unit that can be utilized while the patient remains in his or her vehicle. The building offers easy access with multiple entry and exit points. SouthLand was awarded the project during the project design development phase and maintained the schedule and budget throughout final design and completion of construction. This ability to control cost and schedule while meeting and even exceeding the Client s program needs, is what continually allows SouthLand to develop long-term relationships and build repeat business. Jennie Stuart Medical Center Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects P.C. Southland Constructors, a division of Sierra Vista, Arizona The Rendina project included the construction of a three story, 55,000 SF medical office building. Built on a fast-track schedule to complete at the same time as the adjacent new hospital, the project scope included 51,000 SF of tenant improvement work, including doctor s offices, a physical therapy facility and hospital support space. La Jolla, California The Infusion Clinic Expansion project at the Moore s Cancer Center was initiated to redesign existing space and add additional square footage for the growing clinic. This project was completed within an acute care hospital while the facility remained occupied and in full operation. Aesthetically pleasing, this renovated space included new interior finishes throughout. This OSHPD guided project had substantial infection control elements in place, and required night work to best accommodate this working medical facility. Photographer: Regents of the University of California, San Diego Entente Design HEARNE Construction, a division of Robert Canfield Hopkinsville, Kentucky This tenant improvement project was designed to provide a new space for the Angiography Unit, which also allowed for the replacement of outdated angiography equipment and support space lacking in the current unit. The project remodeled approximately 1,450 SF of existing offices and treatment spaces within the Radiology Department. The unit included the new Angiography Lab and adjacent Control Area, Patient Holding Area, Soiled and Clean Work spaces, new Reading Room and new staff locker and toilet rooms to serve both Angiography Unit and Radiology Department. Regents of the University of California, San Diego Rodriquez Park Architects HEARNE Construction, a division of Jackson, Tennessee Our Nashville Division, SouthLand Constructors, completed this 2-story, 60,000 SF, 72 bed Transitional Healthcare Facility in Jackson, Tennessee. The project includes new patient rooms, a physical therapy unit, kitchen, dining area, laundry, and office space. The facility consists of steel frame construction with metal wall panels, masonry, curtainwall, and a storefront glazing system. The project also includes medical gas systems and a backup generator system to allow seamless operation in case of power outages. SouthLand worked together with the client and design team in a design assist manner to deliver the best possible value for the client. Tennessee Health Management Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects Southland Constructors, a division of

Broomfield, Colorado This specialized Children s Hospital required a new 20,000 SF core and shell building and full site development, utilizing site-cast concrete tilt-up construction with a joist and deck roof structure. Aesthetically bright and pleasing materials were used to enhance the experience of patients and families visiting the non-profit pediatric hospital. Services offered by the facility include hearing, speech, and learning services, as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy, neurodevelopmental evaluations, and a handicap-accessible Sensory Park. We empowered our client on The Children s Hospital project by providing early and accurate budgets in preconstruction, and protecting their financial interests during construction. The Children s Hospital / Urban Frontiers Burkett Design, Inc. Denver, Colorado The UCD Dental School required a fast-track, open for business renovation. Renovations were made to create offices and study areas from existing spaces on the first, second, and third floors of the existing Dental School building. Work included wall, ceiling, and finish work, as well as associated mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and tele-data system modifications as required for the remodel. We empowered UCD by providing adequate resources and management of this complex renovation, allowing for less oversight and administration from the client, so they could focus on their mission of heathcare, education, and research. University of Colorado Denver Oz Architecture Yuma, Arizona The Yuma Medical Office Building consists of the construction of a two story, 33,000 SF, medical office building along with site improvements. The building, a steel structure with exterior stucco skin, is designed to provide maximum flexibility for tenant medical office space. Yuma Ventures Fund II, LLC DLR Group

APRIL 2016 The year 2015 marked another solid year for our family of companies. It was our first full year with our Nashville subsidiary, Southland Constructors, and we also had two acquisitions in the California market in 2015, adding the Hearne Construction and the Honnold Construction Management. The Hearne Construction is a San Diego based general contractor that will help O Neil expand its presence in that market and the addition of the Honnold Construction Management group will be a springboard into the CM market in Southern California. The over-riding message here is that we are continuing to look for ways to improve our service and provide added value to our customers in all markets. Brian G. Ramsay Chief Executive Officer In summary, 2015 was another record revenue year for O Neil as we approached a 15% increase from 2014 revenues to finish at just under $700MM in national revenues. The outlook going forward continues to improve, with projections for another planned 10% revenue increase in 2016. We continue to see improvements in quantity and quality of opportunities in all markets and this hopefully will bode well for a bright and improving future outlook for both O Neil and the overall construction economy. Our diversity of experience, strong national customer relations, and our presence in 6 markets nationally are all supporting our growth as a national family of companies. I d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our employees for their continued dedication and to all of our customers, subcontractors, architects and partners in the industry for their continued support. I m looking forward to working with all of you on making 2016 another successful year for all of us.
