It s a good habit to contact expiring students who have not completed your class remind them of their upcoming expire date and work out a plan to complete the course by the expire date.

STUDENTS > UNGRADED SUBMISSIONS Much like the view from the Home Page, the Ungraded Submissions page lists all ungraded student work. The Summary tab provides an overview by course of how many assessments of each type are currently ungraded. Clicking any of the other tabs ( Assignments, Essays, and Worksheet ) will open up lists of student submissions. Here, you will see the date and time the work was submitted, the title of the assessment, the course and the student name. You can click the blue Title link to view and grade the assessment (see Grading Student Work for more).

STUDENTS > CLASS ATTENDANCE You can view student attendance by class via Students > Class Attendance. Using the search tools at the top, you can select the month, year and course for which you wish to view class attendance. The attendance report will list all students in the class, marking attendance with an x. It is good habit to check student attendance daily. Students who have not been active in your class for 3 consecutive days should be contacted.

This student has not uploaded this assessment (Chapter 2 Test) via the dropbox. However, he/she may have sent the assessment to the teacher as an attachment in the message center. In this case, the teacher can manually enter the student s score for this assignment by clicking the blue Manual link. If you wish to remove all logs and grades for an assessment, click the blue Delete link. This is not a recommended practice, as there will be no record of any submission or grade.
