Martin Wiesmann Dear colleagues: Endovascular treatment of diseases of cervical and cerebral vessels has become a clinical standard in many hospitals. Topic of this hands-on workshop is the endovascular stroke treatment. On the first day we will provide you with an overview of endovascular treatment strategies. Based on case discussions we will focus on strategies for complication management. Relevant details of material science will additionally prepare you for the second day. On the second day you will have a full day to practice embolization techniques under realistic conditions, both in the animal lab and on simulators which are used under x-ray. This hands-on workshop is aimed at radiologists and neuroradiologists of all experience levels (beginners and advanced). We will offer the course both in German and in English.
