Research and Post-Doctoral Associates are excluded. 2) Executive staff, including those who may also have a faculty appointment, e.g. Dean, are included under the occupational activity category, "Executive, Administrative and Managerial", along with other staff whose classifications fall under this particular category. 3) Employees are associated with the responsibility center of the department that processes their Employee Record (ER). 4) Salaries for faculty with twelve-month contracts are converted to a nine-month equivalent using the factor.818181. 5) The mean and median salary amounts are suppressed when the number of faculty in a particular rank, or the number of staff in a particular occupational activity category, is three or fewer. The Net Total reflects these exclusions.
