Revision at Home

Support Check revision is happening Don t overly rely on computer work near exam time get a pen and paper and try a past exam paper! Place a copy of their exam timetable and revision timetable on the fridge Provide a quiet place to work Give them plenty of support, encouragement and incentives to achieve

After every class test, pupils are given a feedback sheet which they use which states the topic of each question.

It will be highlighted by their teacher to show what was done well and what was done not so well

Papers are reviewed in class

Feedback sheets are then given to pupils and the papers and hand written solutions are emailed to parents A starting point for topic revision at home. Reviewing the paper at home encourage your child to talk you through the questions and how to do them to really embed their feedback from class This could be done by doing the paper again and marking it Or this could be done by talking through the questions together and checking with the solutions.
