OFFICE OF THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL (A&E) HARYANA, CHANDIGARH OFFICE ORDER At the time of Annual postings & transfers, which are likely to take place in the month of March 2017 (effective from April 2017), the Divisional Accountants/Divisional Accounts Officers/Sr. Divisional Accounts Officers who will be completing 3 years in a Division and 6 years at a Station will be considered for transfer. However, incumbency period for the past 12 years is to be taken into account for this purpose. The stay of 3 years/6 years in the division/at the station will be determined from 31st. July of the relevant year 2011/2014. A Sr. DAO/DAO/DA retiring on superannuation within next three years, may be allowed Station of his choice subject to the condition that: (a) (b) a Division is available in the Station in which he/she had not served during past twelve years; and such choice of posting is not in continuation of six years of posting in that Station. However, he/she may be considered for continuation of posting in that Division, if she/he is retiring on superannuation in next 12 months (to be reckoned from 01 st. May),, if so opted by him/her. 2. In order to have uniformity in furnishing particulars and making request for transfer to a particular station, a proforma has been prescribed and the same is enclosed. All the Divisional Accountants/Divisional Accounts Officers/ Sr. Divisional Accounts Officers are, therefore, requested to send desired information so as to reach this office latest by 25.01.2017. Request received after this date shall not be considered. 3. It may be noted carefully that Sr. DAOs/ Divisional Accounts Officers / Divisional Accountants should exercise their option/preference for desired station strictly as per their status and one step higher status division separately which may be required to be considered in the case of left over higher status division as per column No.11 (A)&(B) of Proforma with reference to the list of vacant divisions/likely to be vacant divisions(status wise) enclosed. Option/preference exercised for a station/division which is not vacant or is not as per status of the Divisional Accounts Officer/Divisional Accountants shall be
considered as no option. In such cases the transfer and posting will be as per administrative convenience only. Though every effort will be made to adjust the officials due for transfer at the desired place of posting, no assurance can be given in this regard as postings and transfers shall be made subject to administrative exigencies and availability of vacant divisions. 4. It may also be noted that where a single choice of station is preferred this shall be treated that the official has no second or third preference, thereafter and if his choice station is not available he is willing to be posted anywhere. 5. It may be noted that posting at desired station will depend on clearance of outstanding balances under suspense heads, submission of Form PWA-26 etc. during 2016-17 and due weightage will be given to those who have achieved targets in this regard. As such, request for transfer should contain details of clearance of outstanding balances under different suspense heads and dates of submission of Public Works Department monthly accounts to this office in the prescribed proforma (enclosed) so that targets and achievements could be placed before Departmental Promotion Committee for consideration.
