Elevate LMS Platform Overview Elevate provides a vibrant, engaging learning presence that brings together formal or instructional and informal knowledge, social learning and live onsite and online events. This synergy between these learning formats stimulates a higher activity level and becomes a site that motivates your community to visit often. Each type of content has a role that builds towards the creation of a community. Elevate creates relevancy through creating customized experiences based on learner preferences, member or learner categories or roles. When a participant logs in they will be presented with the right content for them with correct pricing based on their profile. Learning paths allow for progression of opportunities to help sustain engagement and provide continuity. Each learning opportunity can include a social learning element fostering peer to peer exchange and sharing of ideas and experiences. Elevate works seamlessly with most Association Management Systems or organizational databases as well as other applications such as social communities, content management systems and financial software. Each site can be stylized to be congruent with an organization s Web presence including layout, imagery, styling and fonts. 2

Elevate Features Dynamic Designs to Match Branding and Layout for Each Client Elevate is the site your community will use to access online learning of every kind. Administrators may create and organize content by categories, interest or practice areas, using your organizations taxonomy. Our powerful, yet easy to use, content management functionality allows your organization to customize every page of the learning site. Every Elevate learning platform offers full SSL secure mode, customized widget content and imagery, content catalog with search features, learner account management tools and more. 3

Flexible Configuration Elevate is much more than a textual list of course titles. Use our robust page widgets to build and dynamically layout each piece of content on your pages. Customize the page menus with your taxonomy. Page widgets allow you to include text, files, imagery, product specific widgets, podcasts, newsfeeds and much more. Add Product/Course icons to set different course types apart from others. Use the robust Product Creation wizard to customize each Product/Course look, feel and function. Learning Program Layout When someone is authenticated for a course or event, they will have access to the first component or any optional items. Components that require achievement in a previous activity can be set up to be locked until the previous work has been fulfilled. 4

Learner Types Elevate allows the administrator to create any number of different user or member types. Content access and information is controlled based on the type of user or member. Administrators can further control access to content based on login and registration status. Learner Dashboard The learner Dashboard is unique to each participant. It contains all of the individual content that the learner purchased or registered for. It also contains a search engine to allow the learner to sort their content as needed. Information on the page contains: content titles, summaries, content icons, tab links, number of assets within each product, progress (number of assets needed to be completed), product status (In Progress, Completed), CE information, downloadable transcript and more. 5

Continuing Education Credentialing The Elevate learning platform allows you to administer all aspects of Continuing Education. Administrators can add CME or CE values to any webinar / Course, track successes, run and download reports on course completions and deliver printable completion certificates. Registration, Secure E-Commerce and Off-Line Payments Registration and a secure PCI compliant payment process are available on the Elevate platform. The platform accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. In addition, the platform offers a module that will allow the Administrator to track and reconcile check or PO-based payments. Participants can also register a program for someone else. Group registration is supported. 6

Self-Management Administration Portal or Full Service Organizations can manage and maintain everything within their Elevate learning platform using the Administrators Portal or let our experienced Event Producers manage it for you. Administrator functions include creating products/courses, starting live web events, uploading content, speaker materials, handouts, video/audio files, YouTube links, or any other content related to your products/courses. The Administrators portal also provides access to user management, reports, system settings, default email templates, project management, branding, page editing, menu editing, categories, interest categories and more. Reporting Elevate provides a standard set of user and product/course reports covering summary and detailed information about learner activities and progress, revenues, registrations, credits, group access, discount access and many other types of information. 7

Live and On-Demand Web Player The Elevate platform comes with a deeply integrated Web conferencing player and registration. This player can be customized to match your brand. The player comes with features such as full screen, locked screen, moderated and open chat, Q&A, hand-raising, slide/video area, screen share, annotations, multispeaker support, web cams, video push, Outlook Calendar plugin, customized or default automated reminders that the administrator defines, and more. Administrators can run both live and pre-recorded content via this player. Elevate can also ingest and deliver any type of webcast feed. We recommend our robust MediaCenter platform for all of your Hybrid, Live or On- Demand webcasting needs. 8

Event / Course Forum Discussions Each learning opportunity incorprates a discussion area where peer networking and collaboration can occur. As soon as a learner registers they have access to connect with others or the presenters / faculty. This social learning compoenent supports active particpation and turns a moment in time such as a webinar to a much more significant learning opportunity. Testing Elevates gives Administrators complete control over testing. Administrators can create pre-tests for benchmarking and post-tests to determine the effectiveness of a course. Tests can have minimum passing scores, fix the number of attempts allowed, offer multiple choice answers, allow for answers to be revealed or not after submitting and determine the number of questions to be revealed on each page. All tests are automatically graded and all user responses are recorded upon submission. Surveys 9

Elevate s Survey Module allows the Administrator to create full function surveys offering field options such as: Likert Scales, Text Input, Text Area, Select Box, Radio Group, Checkbox and Check Box Group. Survey results are automatically tallied and are viewable onscreen or downloadable. Conditional branching is supported. Marketing Elevate offers you the ability to monetize your content and repurpose it in multiple ways. This allows you to maximize its shelf life. For marketing purposes, each Product/Course is given a unique URL. Each Product/Course registration and revenue is tracked and stored. Promotional codes and discount codes offer marketers additional functionality to maximize registration responses. Search Engine Optimization tagging and descriptions allows the marketer to expose the course or product to the major search engines. Unique Mini-Promotional course websites and URLs offer the marketer the ability to separate products/courses or conferences from all other cataloged content allowing for separate branding (if desired), registration and full, stand-alone registration and e-commerce functionality. Elevate offers many different tools for creating excitement, message and brand control, to elicit registration responses, all in an effort to maximize revenue. Podcast Module Elevate s Podcast module allows you to selfpublish podcasts. Simply pre-record an audio presentation and upload the file to Elevate. Or, use our production team to record, edit and produce them for you. Podcasts can be streamed online, downloaded to a desktop or, learners can subscribe to the Podcast feed. Whenever a new Podcast is loaded into the Podcast feed, the learner s device will automatically receive the podcast. Resource Library A Resource Library allows an organization to provide free items such as videos, archived webinars, documents and links. A user will simply click the resource they are interested in to access it. Resources are included in the global search function. 10

News Feed Module The Elevate News Feed Module allows the Administrator to create RSS News Feeds. Think of it as a blog, where learners can subscribe via RSS and receive periodic articles or blog posts based on your frequency. Of course, users can access all of the News Feed articles from your learning portal. Topical Forum Discussion Area To further encourage social learning, Elevate provides a section to hold topical discussions. The site administrator can structure discussions around specific topics or leave this open for learners to begin discussions around subjects of their choice. Private Licensing of Content With Elevate, our clients can allow organizations to pre purchase content and make it available to their staff through a co-branded catalog. Specific learning opportunities can be pre-selected or the entire site can be made available. Individual subscription plans are also supported. 11
