Delete a group (class periods) Manage Groups (left side) click the Group desired Group settings (on the right side of the middle panel) Select manage group Select delete group Yes
Student creates an account Account (upper right corner) Log out Get a free account I m a student Create New Edmodo Account Enter First Name, Last Name, Group Code, User Name (First Name science), Email (Optional), Password (First Name Id Number) username example: raynescience password example: rayne1053361 Remember to ask your students if they already have an existing Edmodo account It will now prompt you to enter parents mobile number or parents email but you can just exit out
Student joins Group
Creating a Folder Sign out of student and log in as Teacher Click Library Click New (over to the right) New Folder Name it Edmodo Training under the Folder title Select your grade Select your Subject Area Finally click Add Folder
Delete a Folder Select the folder desired to be deleted Click on the drop arrow on the right corner of folder Selet Delete
Upload an assignment Make sure your at the Library page and not the Home page New File upload Desktop Distance and Time Graph Choose Add File (It is important to click add file )
Moving an Assignment Click and drag does not work Cut and paste does not work You must click on the down arrow of the assignment Move Click on desired Folder (Edmodo Training) Click Done
Delete an assignment To delete and assignment is the same process of deleting a Folder
Sharing an assignment Click on the Home button Here we can create a Note, Assignment, and Quiz Click on assignment Assignment title type Distance and Time Exit Ticket Due date must be entered select August 1st, 2017 Assignment description type 2 questions on Distance and Time
Sharing an Assignment cont. send to your 1st period class (group) Add from library at the bottom it looks like an open book Select Folder (Edmodo Training) that your created Select the assignment within the folder (Distance and Time Graph) Send (very important to click send or else nothing happens) Now you can see that the assignment has been posted
Student turns in assignment Log in as student Rayne can now see that he has an assignment actually all of your 1st period class Click on the file and open it Student reads the problem and now its time to assess the student Exit the File Turn in (0) click on it Create a text response Enter answer in text box (make sure student types their name) Rayne Prescott 1) a 2) c Turn in assignment Turn in
View a turned in assignment Sign out as student and login with your teacher account Now you have 1 turned in assignment Click on turned in 1 You can now see the assignment submitted from student
Creating a Quiz Click on Quiz Create a Quiz We have multiple choice, true and false, short answer, fill in the blank, and matching For this quiz, select multiple choice Click add first question Question Prompt What is the formula for speed? What is the formula for speed? A) Speed = Distance x Time B) Speed = Distance/Time Add response C) There is no formula for speed Change time limit to 2 minutes Rename Quiz to Speed Quiz
