Directions to Siena College From the North From the Northway (I-87), take Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on NY 155 to US 9. Turn right onto Route 9 for two miles. Siena is on the left. From the South Travel north on the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 23 (I-787). Follow I- 787 North to I-90 West. Take Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville, first exit off I- 90). Follow Route 9 North approximately two miles. Siena is on the right. From the East From the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the New York State Thruway to Exit B-1 (I-90 West). Follow I-90 to Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville). Follow US 9 North approximately two miles. Siena is on the right. From the West From the New York Thruway, take Exit 24 (Northway I-87). Follow Northway North to Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on US 155 to US 9. Turn right on US 9 for two miles. Siena is on the left. Other ways to get to Siena Air Albany International Airport, served by ten airlines, is five miles from campus. Taxi service is available. Bus Greyhound and Adirondack Trailways have terminals in downtown Albany. Taxi service is available. Yankee Trails is our athletic transportation provider. You may contact them at (518) 286-2400. Train Amtrak serves the Capital Region via its terminal in Rensselaer, eight miles from campus. Taxi service is available. Page 2

Parking Lots F and G North of the Morrell Science Center. This parking lot can be accessed from the main entrance on US Route 9. This parking lot is located off of Turchi Road and can be accessed from Spring Street Road on the south side of campus. Parking spots are limited. Page 3

Visitor Parking Buses and vans may drop off their teams at the end of Turchi Road next to the side of the Marcelle Athletic Complex. Buses may park in Lot V only if the driver stays with the bus for the duration of the game. If the driver plans on leaving the bus at anytime, buses must park in either Lot F or Lot U in an area large enough where other vehicles are not blocked. Vans may park in Lot U or Lot F. Spectators may also park in either Lot U or Lot F. A spectator may not park in a handicap spot or fire lane. Vehicles will be ticketed or towed at the owner s expense. Page 4

Directions to the Times Union Center From The North (Clifton Park, Saratoga, Glens Falls, Plattsburgh, etc.) - I-87 South (Northway) to Exit.7 Rte 7 East to I-787 South (Albany). Follow I- 787 South about 10 miles to Madison Ave/Port of Albany Exit. Get off exit and turn right at the third light (South Pearl St). Go to second light and turn left onto Market Street From The South (NYC, Poughkeepsie, Hudson, Long Island, etc.) - NYS Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 23. Take I-787 North to the Downtown Albany Exit (Rte 9 North & 20 West). Get off Exit. Follow signs for Broadway. Turn right onto Madison Ave. Turn right onto South Pearl St. Go to second light and turn left onto Market St. From The West (Schenectady, Amsterdam, Binghamton, Buffalo, etc.) - NYS Thruway East (I-90) to Exit 24 (Albany). Take I-90 East to I-787 South (Albany). Get off Madison Ave/Port of Albany Exit. Get off exit and turn right at the third light (South Pearl St). Go to second light and turn left onto Market St. From The East (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, etc.) - Take Mass Turnpike to Albany Exit. This puts you on I-90 West. Athletic Training Room Information The training room is located in the Marcelle Athletic Complex. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am 6:30 pm. Weekend hours will be scheduled according to practice and game schedules. The following is available for use: Ice and ice cups Hydroculator Muscle stimulator Ultra sound units Hot and cold whirl pools First Aid Splints Backboards Crutches Please notify the head athletic trainer Greg Dashnaw, with any additional needs prior to your arrival. We will try to accommodate the needs of teams traveling without a trainer. Locker Rooms Locker rooms will be open 2 hours before a contest. Lockers will not be available for use. Tailgating For soccer, lacrosse, softball and field hockey there is a designated area for team tailgating located at the North West end of the artificial turf field. For baseball, the designated away team area is located on the North end outside of the Callanan Field House. Picnic tables and garbage cans will be provided at all tailgate locations. Power is not available. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate teams indoors in the event of inclement weather. If there are any other questions about tailgating, please contact the Siena Athletic Department at (518) 783-2551. Venue Rules The following is prohibited in order for everyone to enjoy the game in a safe environment: No pets No alcoholic beverages No smoking No entering the playing field before, after or during a game No use of offensive language toward other players, fans and game officials Also, please throw your trash in the garbage cans provided. Sportsmanship Please help us to create a positive game day environment that promotes good sportsmanship. It is mandatory for all athletes and coaches to abide by the Conference sportsmanship policy. Siena Athletics encourages fair play, suitable conduct and sportsmanship by participants and spectators alike. Opponents must respect each other, and value honest and fair competition in pursuit of triumph. Those displaying inappropriate and/or unsportsmanlike behavior may be asked to leave the venue.
