CAMPUSES & ACCOMMODATION Melbourne Burwood Campus The Melbourne Burwood Campus is Deakin s largest and has a lively and diverse culture. It has striking modern architecture and open and inviting spaces for socialising and studying. The campus features a professional motion capture lab; dance, drama and television studios; food nutrition lab; and IT gaming facilities. It is a short trip from the centre of Melbourne, giving students access to the best of city living combined with a friendly community atmosphere. Geelong Waterfront Campus The Geelong Waterfront Campus is positioned in the centre of Geelong s central business district. Students love the central location, as well as the creative, modern areas to meet with friends or study. The campus is home to Deakin s architecture and creative arts studios, as well as nursing and health teaching facilities, including a purpose-built occupational therapy laboratory. The campus is also home to excellent facilities for business and law students. Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus Set on expansive, landscaped grounds, Geelong Waurn Ponds is Deakin s second largest campus. Waurn Ponds is home to the Deakin Medical School and Geelong Innovation Precinct a collection of research centres exploring the latest in advanced fields like nanotechnology and biotechnology. The campus is a short trip from the Australia s southern coast surf beaches. And students have the ability to frequently catch public transport to the centre of Geelong and Melbourne. Warrnambool Campus Deakin s Warrnambool Campus is set on the banks of the picturesque Hopkins River, close to surf beaches and popular tourist attractions. The Warrnambool Campus is a close-knit community: a place where students and lecturers have the opportunity to get to know each other. This sense of community extends to the whole of Warrnambool, providing support to new students in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Being located near a number of unique aquatic environments makes the Warrnambool Campus an ideal location for marine biology studies. Cloud Campus Deakin s Cloud Campus (online) enables students to take part in classes and seminars, and chat with other students and academic staff. Scholarships At Deakin, we believe everyone should have the option of going to university. There are an array of scholarships available to international students through Deakin and other parties, including the Australian Government. Deakin scholarships include: Deakin Vice-Chancellor s International Scholarship offers a 100% or 50% tuition fee reduction for the duration of your course, among other benefits. Deakin International Scholarship offers 25% tuition fee reduction for the duration of your course.
