About HIT Founded in 1920, Harbin Institute of Technology has developed into an open, multidisciplinary, research-oriented, leading national university with science and engineering as its core, encompassing management, liberal arts, economy and law as a whole. About Program The International Summer School program will run from July 2 to 27 in 2018. This program offers a wide variety of English-taught courses in cultural studies, literature, economics, international relations, as well as Chinese traditional physical exercises and sports. It also provides Chinese language courses for beginners. All courses will be held at HIT main campus. Students will receive an official transcript and earn academic credits from us and many students can transfer these credits back to their home universities upon completion of the program. About Activities - Chinese Language & Cultural experiences There are courses in Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and grammar, ancient Chinese, and Chinese culture. We also offer the Chinese cultural experience activities, which include Chinese painting, Chinese cuisines, Chinese paper cutting, traditional culture lectures, etc. - City exploration We will visit the places of interests in Harbin, such as, Sun Island, Central Street, Baroque Style Street, Kanto Ancient Lanes. - Seminar on The Belt & Road Initiative You will further understand the development of The Belt & Road Initiative and the basic theory in management consulting and policy analysis, systematic specialized knowledge.
