Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching About The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching is an exciting new development at the University of Derby. As the new Head of Centre I am delighted to share our vision and aspirations to be a leading institution for academic excellence. The Centre comprises our Technology Enhanced Learning team, the University s Joint Honours Scheme and our Learning and Teaching team. Strategic Aims To provide an outstanding and transformational learning experience for every student To support College and disciplinary engagement in innovative practice and high quality learning and teaching which promotes student engagement and success To embed digital capabilities in all aspects of practice across the University Our Mission We are committed to excellence in learning, teaching and pedagogic practice through communities of academic scholarship, innovation and research, leading to an outstanding and transformational experience for every student.
