Please look at the dairy at the end of the newsletter for the dates and times of the Year 5 Carol concert and the joint Reception and Year 1 Nativity. Also next week, we have the Christmas lunch and Christmas jumper day (Thursday) and the Disco on Friday! RECENT EVENTS Switching on Christmas lights in Tilbury Well done to our Year 6s for singing Christmas Carols beautifully at the Switching on of the Christmas lights in Tilbury. Years 2 and 3 Nativity Years 2 and 3 gave a lovely nativity performance to parents on Wednesday. Collections from all our Nativity performances will go to the Brentwood Catholic Children's Society. SCHOOL NOTICES School Dinners Please note that next Wednesday (13th) and Thursday (14th) December, school dinners will swap days: Thursday will be Wednesday s menu and Wednesday will be Thursday s menu (for Christmas Dinner). Also, on 2 nd January 2018 (the first day back to school after the Christmas break) it will be Monday s menu (sausages) instead of Tuesday's menu. School Discos - Friday 15 th December Tickets will be sold each morning 8.40am-8.50am & 3.00pm-3.10pm by St. Mary s & Friends or staff in the school entrance. Tickets are 2.50 each (all inclusive package: disco, sweets & drinks). Years: Reception, 1 & 2 Time: 3.30pm 4.45pm. Children should be collected from class by their parents and taken to the main school entrance to be signed in (please have ticket ready). Parents to collect at 4.45pm from the front entrance. Years: 3, 4, 5 & 6 Time: 5.00pm 6.15pm. These children should arrive no earlier than 4.55pm and will not be let into school until 5.00pm. They must be collected at 6.15pm prompt by an adult, via the front entrance. No child will be allowed to walk home alone! Page 3 of 5
