The fields of interests of her are as follows: Digital protection in power systems especially with modern techniques (ANN, FUZZY and WAVELETS). Measuring the magnetic field and studying its effects on human health. Power Quality. Cooperation with Dr. Tarek Saad Abd El-Salam (Ain-Shams Univ.) and Dr. Nahed El- Abyad (Atomic Power Research Center) in a research project to study the effects of magnetic field exposure and its exposure levels on the blood contents for rates to extend the study for human 2002. Implementation of environmental project at Ain-Shams University (one year project in 2001) with the title" Effect of Low Frequency Magnetic Field Exposure On Environment", it consists of three main study parts: 1. Magnetic Field Exposure Due To Domestic Appliances. 2. Magnetic Field Exposure of a Group of Candidates at Their Regular Daily Lives. 3. Magnetic Field Exposure Due To Overhead Transmission Line and Industrial Equipment. Design, construction, and testing of a laboratory model to invent an Intelligent Digital Relay for protecting transmission lines (fault detection, fault classification, direction discrimination and fault location). Design and implementation of a device used to measure the magnetic field levels. Design and implementation of a smart meter (Effat University)
