Project managers and others who have a PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate, who want to revise and take the exam to become a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner. What is it about? This project management qualification is designed for all practising and potential project managers who require an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles, tls and techniques for successful project management. The APMP: The APM Project Management Qualification (IPMA Level D) is an internationally recognised qualification awarded by the Association for Project Management, the UK s leading association for project management professionals. The focus of this intensive course is to provide you with a level of knowledge that will enhance your ability to manage projects and give you a professional qualification that is transferrable across any industry and sector. No previous experience of working in projects is necessary; however, it would be ideal if delegates have had some experience of working in a project environment. What is it about? The APMP: The APM Project Management Qualification is based on the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition - a concise and structured guide to the knowledge required in managing projects. This intensive course provides a comprehensive introduction to project management. Using a blend of knowledge, practical application through case study exercises, discussions and sample examination questions the course will address the tls, techniques and the soft skills required for successfully managing projects. Pre-read material is provided before attending the course. It is essential that you review all the information prior to attending the event - it will require approximately 25 hours study prior to the course. This programme also requires some structured self-study during the course to cover the material contained within the examination. Delegates are also advised to download support documentation from the APM website to assist with their study. The documentation will be sent to you in advance and must be brought along to the course as it will be needed for reference during the training. The more you do before the course, the more time there will be during the course to ask questions, confirm your understanding and make sure you are adequately prepared. Please make a list of any questions so that these can be addressed during the course. The APMP exam is a three hour written exam consisting of questions designed to test your breadth of knowledge in all the aspects of project management as well as your understanding of project management techniques. You are required to answer ten essay style questions from a possible 16. Please note that you will need to have bked at least ten working days before the course date, in order for you to be registered to take the examination.
