WELCOME Welcome to The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts the oldest fine arts museum in Alabama. Noted for its outstanding collection of American paintings, sculpture, and works on paper, the Museum also boasts an impressive collection of Old Master prints, Southern regional art, Studio Glass, and decorative arts. More than 150,000 visitors tour the Museum annually. Partnerships with local schools expose more than 11,000 area school children to the arts every year. Located within the Blount Cultural Park, the Museum is nestled in one of the most picturesque spots in Montgomery. The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts provides a unique and sophisticated setting to showcase dreams and make business occasions truly memorable. The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts was founded to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret art of the highest quality for the enrichment, enlightenment and enjoyment of its public. The Rotunda The grand Rotunda, with its classically inspired dome, monumental columns, marble floors, and gracious Foyer entrance is a work of art in itself. Lowder Gallery In the Lowder Gallery the dramatic and monumental stained glass windows by Cappy Thompson provide the perfect setting for any large-scale event. The Lowder Gallery features:» Space to accommodate up to 200 for a seated dinner or 300 for a cocktail reception» Access to the adjacent, Orientation Circle, which has a variety of uses including space for cocktails at a dinner event or a unique space for a band at a cocktail reception» A beautiful glass Atrium gallery also adjoins Lowder and provides a magnificent entrance as well as additional space for cocktails

Orientation Circle contact The Orientation Circle with curved walls, theater style acoustics, and projection equipment is the perfect space for intimate luncheons, dinners, or meetings.
