He was born November 8, 1960 to Raymond Conrad and Charlotte (Szydlowski) Gorski in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Tom graduated from Saint Viator High School in 1978. After they married they moved to New York and then Plano, Texas in 1988 for his career with JC Penney. Over his 36 year career with JC Penney, Tom worked his way from a stock boy to Vice President, Divisional Sourcing Director and eventually retired in May of 2017. Not only was Tom a dedicated employee at JCPenney, more importantly, Tom was a dedicated family man and loving father. He was extremely involved in coaching, guiding, and supporting his family in everything they did. Everything was about family for him and he valued every moment he spent with them. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gorski of Frisco, Texas; children, Cameron Gorski and Melanie Gorski both of Dallas, Texas; dogs, Jojo and Bosley; cat, Oscar; brothers, Gary Gorson and wife Debra of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, Kevin Gorski and wife Lynn of Palatine, Illinois; mother-in-law, Barbara Boyer of Frisco, Texas; many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. I just learned of Tom's passing and want to extend my sympathy to the family. We live in the neighborhood. Though I did not have the opportunity to get to know Tom well, he was very helpful to me and our neighborhood committee as we worked with the City on the Edgewood Development adjacent to Lawler Park. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do for you. My prayers are with you. SUSAN HANSON, JANUARY 17, 2018 It's very sad to hear the news. Our deepest condolences to the grieving family. May Tom's soul Rest In Peace. ASOKKUMAR CHRISTIAN, JANUARY 17, 2018 Debbie, I'm so sorry to hear the news about Tom. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. We are all shocked and saddened by the news. I am here if you need me! Kathy KATHY PRIOR, JANUARY 16, 2018 Every week, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday I would take my dog Leo to see Mr. Tom as he was preparing for his workouts with the folks at Camp Gladiator. Leo LOVED Mr. Tom and would jump on him and give him kisses. My dog has never shown a relative stranger such love and devotion. What a kind and gentle soul Mr. Tom was to entertain the affections of a little dog who waited patiently in the parking lot each morning for his arrival. Such a simple gesture speaks volumes to the character of a human being. I only knew Mr. Tom as Leo's buddy, I wish I had known him better. Rest in peace you kind soul. TONY HARRINGTON, JANUARY 15, 2018 Part of me will always be a Blackhawks fan because of Tom! I am thankful for the way that he was so welcoming to Cameron s friends. CALVIN STRAIN, JANUARY 15, 2018 Words can not express how highly I thought of Tom. He was a kind and approachable man that always had a smile on his face. My prayers go out to his family. JOANNE CAMPOS, JANUARY 15, 2018

I worked with Tom for 12 years at International Sourcing at JCPenney Corporate. Tom was a very professional and conscientious leader. He was very proud of his family. Rest in Peace Tom. My prayers and thoughts are with Tom's family. HOLLY PENDLETON, JANUARY 15, 2018 I had the pleasure of working with Tom at JCPenney. He was a brilliant, dedicated leader, who improved everything he touched. Tom and I also shared a passion for ice hockey and played on the same team in Plano, TX for several seasons. As he was at work, Tom was a wonderful teammate and he led by example. Clearly the most important thing to Tom was his family. Debbie, Cam and Melanie were the center of his life and he always spoke so proudly of them. I recall how much he loved coaching Cam s roller hockey team. To say Tom will be missed is an understatement. He was an incredible guy. Rest In Peace, Tom. I'm proud to be your friend. Pete Foley PETER FOLEY, JANUARY 15, 2018 I will always have fond memories of traveling the world over with Tom. He was passionate about his work and a great boss and a true leader with the highest standards. I will miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. ROB HAYES, JANUARY 15, 2018 I am a co-worker and friend of Tom s son Cameron. My heart and deepest sympathies go out to Cameron and the Gorski family during this difficult time. What a wonderful man he must have been to have such a amazing son, which I am lucky to work with daily. I know you have and will continue to make your dad proud every day Cameron. MICHELLE STAPLES, JANUARY 15, 2018 We are so sorry for your loss. We remember Tom as a joyful person when thinking back on the family get-togethers. You are in our thoughts and prayers today. JON AND KAREN BUCK AND FAMILY, JANUARY 15, 2018 I work with Tom's son Cameron and just want him to know that he's in my thoughts and prayers. I'm very sorry for your loss and know that we are here

for you if you need anything. - Melissa MELISSA JACKSON, JANUARY 15, 2018 Debbie, Words can't express my sorrow and how my heart goes out to you and your family.
