Introduction The focus of the program lies on understanding how entrepreneurs create economic and social value by tapping into new opportunities. In addition, the course explores entrepreneurial approaches related to how managers of corporations act when confronted with complex problems and emerging opportunity situations. In that sense, entrepreneurs provide a useful model for all managers, those of Small and Medium Enterprises as well as those of multinational corporations in areas ranging from corporate venturing, intrapreneurship and bringing the market inside. In addition, the course explores problem solving under conditions of complexity and rapid change. In doing so, it seeks to increase the student s understanding of the creative process and how such process can help improve creative problem solving skills. Participants join in activities designed to help develop their own creativity and discuss how the creative process can assist them in developing a new idea for a business venture.
