Course Entry Requirements The criteria for joining this course is as follows: BTEC Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or related studies (Extended Diploma -12 Units) or 120 UCAS points (or 48 new UCAS points from Sept 2017) GCE Advanced Level profile demonstrating strong performance in a relevant subject This is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C Other related Level 3 qualification (like a European Baccalaureate) Access to Higher Education Certificate Related work experience Functional Skills: English (Literacy) Level 2 and Maths (Numeracy) Level 1 Students who are non-native English speakers or who have not studied the final two years of school in English, can demonstrate capability in English at a standard commensurate to: IELTS 5.5, with a minimum of 5.0 being awarded on individual sections for a Level 4 or 5 qualification. Application Process STEP 1. A pre-admission (enquiry) form to be submitted to gain one-to-one information, advice or guidance (IAG) about the course and the college. STEP 2. An application form must be submitted with all necessary original documents that meet the course entry requirements.
