INDIANA AGRICULTURE TEACHERS WORKSHOP GENERAL INFORMATION JUNE 26-27, 2017 The 2017 Indiana High School Agriculture Teachers Workshop is hosted by the Purdue University College of Agriculture. COSTS Each IAAE member is charged a fee of $90 to cover some workshop expenses. Non- member fee is $180. Workshop participants are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and expenses. There is a $35 fee for those who cannot attend the workshops but would like to attend the Monday night banquet. Teachers retiring this year and their spouses are invited to attend the banquet free of charge. Please indicate your choice on the registration form. Registrants who are unable to attend will be granted refunds upon written request until June 1, 2017. Purdue University is not responsible for costs incurred by registrants due to cancellation. PARKING Parking for Thursday on-campus sessions is provided in your registration. You will receive a pass at registration to place on your dashboard. Parking at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel and Beck Center is free. LODGING The IHSATW and NAAEIV will take place in the Courtyard Marriott. Each attendee is responsible for his or her own lodging. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard Marriott for both IHSATW and NAAEIV. The nightly rate is $125 and the deadline for hotel accommodations is May 23, 2017. An overview of combine material flow (from platform to residue management) will be discussed, and attendees will have an opportunity to discuss how Vincennes University and the John Deere program can help ag teachers at their respective schools.
