International Foundation Programme in Business, Computing & Engineering INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME The International Foundation Programme (IFP) has been specifically designed for international students who want to study for an undergraduate degree but do not have British A-level qualifications (Year 13). Students will have completed their secondary school education in their own country and are looking for a programme that will provide them with the English language skills and knowledge to embark upon undergraduate study at a UK University. The programme involves a significant amount of English language teaching. The SKOLA-WE Bridge IFP is accredited by NCC Education and is an Ofqual regulated qualification. COURSE LENGTH: 6 months, full time 25 hours per week (start January 2018) 9 months, full time 25 hours per week (start September 2018) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (IFP): Start January 2018 A minimum overall grade of IELTS 5.5 with no individual element lower than 5.0, or equivalent, or internal SKOLA Test. Start September 2018 A minimum overall grade of IELTS 4.5 with no individual element lower than 4.0, or equivalent, or internal SKOLA Test. Junior Courses Ages 10-16 SUMMER SCHOOL - 2 JULY 2018-10 AUGUST 2018 Students will study all language skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation through fun and contemporary topics such as fashion, space exploration, wildlife & environment. One of the course books we use is IMPACT which encourages self-expression, global citizenship, and active participation, IMPACT motivates students to explore who they are and who they want to be, all while learning English! Adult Accommodation SKOLA Exeter can offer 3 types of accommodation: HOMESTAY All year round Families carefully selected and visited by SKOLA staff. Most families are within 20 minutes walking distance of the school and city centre. RESIDENCE Available June/July/August Superior & modern residence, located in the city centre. All rooms with private bathroom and shared kitchen or Studio apartments with private bathroom & kitchen available. STUDENT HOUSE Available July & August For students on a budget.
