Higher Ed Partnership UIW medical school to be built on Fox Tech HS grounds Grants to SAISD students and faculty worth about $16.3 million $1.5 million to enhance the expansion and sustainability of SAISD s health careers programs Mentoring, tutoring, summer camps and other in kind benefits in support of SAISD health careers programs Districtwide: Annual scholarships of $3,000 per year for any SAISD student who meets UIW s admissions requirements $50,000 annually in scholarship support for employees pursuing UIW graduate degree programs

Serving our adult community SAISD leases City centers to continue adult ed programs District serves approx. 4,000 adult students annually at locations throughout District 2,500 of those students attended SAISD classes at City community centers now closed SAISD now leasing former Billa and Huantes Learning Centers to serve these neighborhoods Opened Bowie to serve those displaced from St. Mary s and Willie Velasquez Centers SAISD offers same high quality programs at no cost to community
