CMI Level 5 Management and Mentoring Management Programme for Mid-Senior Leaders KSC is pleased to introduce our highly interactive and participative Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Certificate in Management & Mentoring, a unique programme purposely designed to develop your understanding, skills and techniques of coaching and mentoring in an organisational setting. You will be exposed to new insights, tools and approaches to develop your capability and confidence to coach others effectively in your organisation and beyond with an accredited and recognise professional coaching qualification. Qualification Purpose Our CMI Level 5 coaching qualification is designed practising coaches, middle managers and those aspiring to senior management to develop management coaching and mentoring skills, helping to identify the links between management coaching, mentoring and the achievement of business goals. Who Should Attend? This programme is aimed at practising coaches, middle to senior managers who have the opportunity to implement management coaching in the organisation. Programme Delivery The programme is delivered over four full-day highly participative workshops, three half-day action-learning sessions and three 1:1 tutorial coaching sessions with lots of opportunity to implement and reflect upon the learning in-between. Delegates will be required to attend each of the full day workshops detailed below and submit a 2500-3000 word written assignment for each unit. It is recommended that delegates complete at least 10 hours 1:1 coaching practice during the course of their studies, under the supervision of the course facilitator. Participants will enjoy a full day of management coaching skills practice and theory. This unit is about introducing the practice of management coaching and mentoring and the impact on Human Resources Development and performance. Programme Director and Course Facilitator The Programme Director and Course Facilitator is Kate Shahid. A full and active member of the UK s professional coaching body, the Association for (AC), Kate is a coaching and organisational development specialist with over fourteen years worth of experience of supporting individuals and teams across all sectors to develop leadership, effect change and positively enhance organisational cultures. She is most passionate about enabling people and organisations to achieve their true potential through coaching in line with organisational needs, empowering businesses to achieve success & growth through their people. Kate completed her professional qualifications, including an MBA and a Post Graduate Certificate in Further Education and Training, at Northumbria University s highly regarded Newcastle Business School. She is an experienced and dedicated leadership coach with over eight years experience of training and developing coaches in a variety of contexts.

Kate is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant at KSC and founder of the North East s OD Exchange, a non-profit making professional forum for OD practitioners.
