For the Analysis of Student Work (ASW) process, teachers of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and the IB Approaches to Learning Course (IBCC) will choose objectives from their course guides based on the DPI guidance below. IB Teachers To choose the course objectives for which you will submit Timelapse Artifacts, go to the IB Online Curriculum Centre, http://occ.ibo.org. If you need assistance with your login information, please contact the IB Coordinator at your school. From the OCC homepage, use the Diploma Programme toolbar near the top of the page to navigate to your course site. On the course homepage, click on the link to the PDF version of your course guide, which is generally located near the top of the General Documents section. If multiple course guides are posted, please be sure to select the correct year of examinations. Then, carefully using the chart below, select the Objectives, Assessment Objectives, Themes, etc. for which you will submit student work. IB Course Objectives Guidance Some IB courses list objectives in an outline format. In these cases, for the ASW process, select objectives from among the lowest level of the outline hierarchy, which is generally indicated by bullets, dashes, or lower-case letters. Several of these bullets, dashes, or lower-case letters will appear as being grouped together under a broader theme. Do not select the broader theme. When course objectives are particularly broad and involve several concepts, skills, and/or levels of analysis, teachers may select narrower aspects of the objectives for artifact submission. Teachers will have the opportunity to clarify what aspects of the objective are demonstrated during the submission process at the end of the course by providing this information in the supporting documentation. 0I008X0 IB Approaches to Learning IBCC Core Guide: Approaches to Learning course Aims, p. 13 0I018X0 IB Theory of Knowledge Assessment Objectives, p. 15 3I098X0 IB Environmental Systems and Societies SL Assessment Statements in the left column of charts throughout the guide, beginning p. 14 1I008X0 IB Language A (English)- Language & Literature SL Assessment Objectives, p. 10 1I018X0 IB Language A (English)- Language & Literature HL Assessment Objectives, p. 10 1I028X0 IB Language A (English)- Literature SL Assessment Objectives, p. 10 1I038X0 IB Language A (English)- Literature HL Assessment Objectives, p. 10 1I048X0 IB Language A- Self-Taught SL Assessment Objectives, p. 10
