Outstanding facilities We recognise the importance of creating a stimulating and well-resourced environment with great facilities in order to create the best possible experience. We ve invested over 16m across both campuses to create purpose built facilities for our learners equipped with the latest machinery and technology. We re taking technology further Our brand new 7m Technology Centre opened in September 2011 at the Middleton Campus with the most up to date facilities, IT, tools and equipment. The building accommodates learners studying courses in Manufacturing Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Electrical Installation and Carpentry & Joinery and Brickwork. A new look for our Rochdale Campus Our Rochdale town centre campus continues to offer a wide range of practical courses, including some new, exciting courses in Media and Games Design. The campus already has a vibrant new look that has transformed its appearance, but beyond this, our real focus is on creating outstanding teaching and learning facilities to increase success rates and get the best from our learners. Our Learning Resource Centres at the Middleton and Rochdale Campuses were upgraded in 2010 with over 450,000 spent on new furniture, improved lighting and air conditioning to create a welcoming and user-friendly learning hub.
