INTRODUCTION Welcome to today s National Girls and Women In Sports Day celebration. New Jersey is proud to join the Nation in celebrating the achievements of our many outstanding female athletes throughout the state. This year s theme is and it will be the 29th Anniversary of the national celebration. Today s program includes a state-wide awards ceremony, where outstanding high school and college/ university female athletes will be presented with special awards from the National Association for Girls and Women in Sports. We hope you continue the celebration of our female athletes at the Seton Hall University women s basketball game, following the program.
