WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The academic entry requirements are dependent on the course you wish to study. Please see overleaf for more information on this. If you meet the course entry requirements then we accept a student on a Sixth Form study programme providing that: you have a genuine desire to continue with your educational studies you choose a realistic and relevant course for which you are qualified and wish to pursue At your previous educational establishment you will be expect to have demonstrated and able to sustain the following: consistently high punctuality and attendance commitment to your studies adherence to dress code good record of behaviour willingness to take part in the school community motivation and responsibility of the organisation of your personal study time

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS A Level Courses: Entry requirements for all A Level subjects is 5 GCSE grades 9-5, including English and Maths (at least grade 5), with either a grade 6 or 7 (or higher) for specific subjects you want to study (please see separate subject pages). A minimum of three A Levels or their equivalent must be studied. Other Courses: These subjects can be studied as complete courses worth two A Levels or as a half worth one A Level. If you only wish to study the half then you must tick Part 1 and pick your other subjects accordingly. Entry Requirements for all BTEC Level 3 and Diploma subjects is 5 GCSE grades 9-5, including English and Maths (at least grade 5). Performance Studies: Part 1 Drama can be taken as a stand-alone course without Part 2 Music & Dance. However, if you wish to complete Part 2 Music & Dance, then you have to firstly complete Part 1 Drama. BTEC Level 2 Courses: These are standalone pathways which are designed for students who have not achieved the entry requirements for Level 3 courses, such as A Levels and other equivalents. Entry requirements for a Level 2 course are 4 GCSE grades 9 4. Students who choose these courses will be required to resit their GCSE English and Maths if they have not achieved a pass grade.
