C. GENERAL GUIDELINES 1. Rules and regulations of KKFI (Kho-Kho Federation of India) as adopted by the CBSE will be followed. 2. All participating schools should participate in the March Past. 3. A player shall be under 17 or 19 years of age on 31 st December 2017 a. Under 17 years: Born on or after 01 01 2001 b. Under 19 years: Born on or after 01 01 1999. 4. A Junior Player can be permitted to play in senior age group, and then the participation in the original group will be forfeited 5. A team shall consist of a maximum number of Twelve Players. 6. The participating schools must attach the proof of payment of annual sports fees 2017-2018 along with Performa. 7. From the cluster, the First Position team will qualify to participate in the CBSE national championship. 8. Participating schools are requested to e-mail the filled in pro forma for food and accommodation latest by 20 th September 2017 9. Date, time and mode of arrival should be intimated well in advance so that transport arrangement can be made accordingly. 10. Each school must issue an Identity Card to every player of the school separately. 11. It is obligatory for students studying in class IX and above, to provide CBSE registration number given in class IX, and for students studying in class XI & XII to provide class X certificate with photo issued by the board. 12. The officials accompanying the team shall have a valid identity card issued by their school principal which they must deposit at reception on the arrival of teams. 13. Entry of any person in the school without identity-cards will be strictly prohibited. 14. Team photograph with school principal should be duly attested by the principal of the institution. 15. Only a coach and a manager will be accommodated with a team. Any non-designated person accompanying the team will not be given permission on any grounds to stay in the premises. 16. Team with girl participants should be accompanied by at least one female teacher. 17. Team manager should take up the responsibility of the team and their belongings.
18. The tournament shall be conducted on knock out basis as per rules and guidelines given in the CBSE inter school sports and games calendar. 19. The team must be ready to play the matches according to the fixed schedule. 20. The team must report at the court 30mts before the games scheduled time. 21. Any dispute arising during the events regarding decisions taken by the officials must be intimated in writing to the organizing committee within half an hour of completion of the event along with a fee of Rs 1000/- which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld as per the decision of the jury. 22. In case of any indiscipline during the championship or in the campus, the accused team will be asked to leave immediately. 23. Team officials are requested to complete all the formalities and clear all the dues before leaving the host school. 24. The school will not be responsible for any loss, illness or accident, which may occur during the tournament. Team coaches are responsible for their team s safety. 25. The organizers reserve the right to change the competition schedule in case of any unavoidable circumstances. 26. The decision of the judges shall be final. 27. Where the championship is being held on knockout basis, the organizing and the participating school will collect/deposit payments against meals on full day basis and no part payment will be collected /deposited and participating schools will not receive instant refund or part payment. D. BOARDING AND LODGING 1. All the participating teams should pay a refundable caution deposit of Rs. 2000/ per each age category(girls and boys) at the reporting time and it will be returned after necessary clearance (If any) by the organizing committee 2. Boarding and lodging charges Rs 350/- per day per head for participants and staff is mandatory. 3. On 25 th September 2017 dinner will be provided at the rate of Rs.100/- per head. Prior information should be given to avail food and accommodation. 4. The team managers should take up the responsibility of the overall behavior of their team members on the ground and at the lodging place. 5. Team members are requested to carry with them all materials for lodging
E. ELIGIBILITY / ENTRY PROFORMA: 1. The player should be within the required age group on 31 December of the year of competition 2. Only Bonafide student shall be eligible to participate in the school tournaments /meets. Participation of any non bonafide student shall lead to disqualification of the team. 3. A student, who has failed twice in a class, shall no more be eligible to participate. 4. Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team. 5. Any violation in eligibility (over age or impersonation) shall be dealt with according to rules. 6. The original eligibility pro forma of players/teams qualified to participate cluster to national level will have to be certified by the organizing school at venue, immediately after their cluster level tournament is over. 7. All the supporting papers for age verification of the player, etc. In original, as per the CBSE guideline & rules shall be carried personally by the team manager /coach while reporting for participation 8. The player s right to participate forfeits if failed to produce the papers supporting the eligibility in original on demand 9. Any team not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the commencement of the tournament /meet shall not be permitted to participate. 10. Eligibility/ Entry Pro-forma (Participating Students Details, Game Wise Participants Details) filled- in online, countersigned by the concerned principal should be submitted to the host school. F. PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS 1. No team will be permitted to play unless accompanied by a teacher /coach at the venue. 2. Dining mess arranged by the host school is mandatory for the teams that opt to stay in the school providing accommodation. 3. Every player / team shall carry with them required details as mentioned under the Eligibility. 4. Every team shall carry their school flag for the purpose of march past and to be used during the various ceremonies. Participation in march past is compulsory, failing which, the right to participate can be forfeited. 5. Also, it is the responsibility of the school/team staying outside, to collect information regarding matches/ fixtures / programme.
G. WITHDRAWING SCHOOL 1. If a school, after filling in its entry, wishes to withdraw from a tournament/meet, shall give a written request of its intention to do so to the organizing secretary/ school. 2. School withdrawing without informing/requesting the organizing school, will be penalized with a penalty of RS.1000/-. H. DISQUALIFICATION A player/team may be disqualified\scratched for the following reasons 1) If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected. 2) Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team. 3) Misbehavior on ground by player or accompanying officials. 4) Use of abusive language by player or accompanying official. 5) Misbehavior with officials/ opponents by player or accompanying officials. 6) Indiscipline at place of stay by the player or accompanying official 7) Damaging the school property. 8) Indiscipline during the opening and closing ceremonies by the player or accompanying officials 9) Non participation in march past The organizing school in no case shall show the eligibility pro forma or any other paper of a team to anyone who lodges the protest. It is only the jury of appeals prerogative to verify all the documents. I. PROTEST 1. Protest of any nature in connection with the tournament shall be in writing and must reach the organizing Sectary and CBSE observer within one hour of the declaration of result, along with the protest fee of Rs. 1000/ Such protest will be considered by the Jury of Appeal, consisting of following: 1. Principal, The Organizing school 2.Organizing Secretary 3.CBSE Observer 4.One or two technically qualified people at the venue 2. The parties under dispute may be heard before deciding the issue.in case the protest is uploaded, the protest fee shall be refunded to the respective schoo,l otherwise the fee shall be forfeited.
3. The decision taken by the Jury of appeal will be final and binding. 4. The decision, together with full facts of the protest may immediately be reported to the Jt Director (sports)cbse J. Important Instructions 1. Participants are requested not to bring any valuable items such as jewellery, mobile, camera, walkman etc. The team managers will be responsible for the safety of their own belongings and the loss/ damage to the host school property. 2. The participating schools are requested to submit the travel details providing, exact date, time and mode of journey to enable the organizers to pick up the teams from railway station/bus station. 3. The participating schools are requested to make their own arrangements for return journey reservation. 4. Every participant is expected to maintain proper discipline in the school campus during his/her stay. 5. Any damage done to the property of the organizing school during the stay by any of the participants shall be compensated by the respective manager/coach. 6. THINGS TO BE BROUGHT BY THE TEAM MANAGER 1. Authorization letter from the Head of the institution. 2. Photo Identity card of the player as per the CBSE online registration (UID). 3. School Flag. 4. Every school should submit a signed copy of the Eligibility / Entry pro-forma filled- in online to the host school. 5. Group photo of the participants and team manager with the Principal duly attested by Principal. 6. Student / player studying in class X and above have to provide copy of the CBSE registration number given by the school. 7. All the supporting documents verifying the age of the player, etc. in original, as per the CBSE guideline and rules shall be carried personally by the team manager/coach while reporting for participation. 8.
