Envirothon: Environmental competitions where groups of 5 (alternate makes 6) test in different areas of ecology with an addition of a current issue(9-12). Science Fair Plan and compete in school science fair(9-12) Math Counts(7-12) Math solving games and activities Academic Pentathlon: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students explore ways that math, science, social science, fine arts and literature connect to Africa, and compete at both regional and national competitions. Technology Student Association (TSA). All 7th grade students are members but it is open to 7-12. State Competition in March and Nationals are in June. Several different types of projects can be done for competition. There are several local competitions that culminate in a state championship and Worlds. Competitions include skills, alliances, autonomous robot coding, engineering notebook, and STEM Science. Stage Crew Supports DASA theatrical productions, concerts, film productions, and other events with lighting, sound, set construction, etc. Supports stage crew class, but enrollment in class is not necessary for club membership.
