GCSE MATHEMATICS Venn Diagrams 2 These questions are taken from AQA Linked Pair Pilot Papers between January 2011 - June 2016 Instructions Use black ink or black ball-point pen. Draw diagrams in pencil. Answer all questions. You must answer the questions in the spaces provided. Do not write outside the box around each page or on blank pages. Do all rough work in this book. Cross through any work that you do not want to be marked. If your calculator does not have a π button, take the value of π to be 3.14 unless another value is given in the question. Information The marks for questions are shown in brackets. The quality of your written communication is specifically assessed in questions that are indicated with an asterisk (*). Advice Read each question carefully before you start to answer it. In all calculations, show clearly how you work out your answer. Use the number of marks for the question as a guide to the amount of time you need to spend. Look at previous parts of the question, e.g. a), b), c) i) as there may be information there you need to answer later parts. Check your answer is realistic and appropriate. Work out the probability that the student is female and does not play the piano or the guitar.
