They are to ensure their appearance reflects the standards of the College and that their behaviour and interaction with the public is exemplary. The College uniform code is printed at the front of the College Diary. All items of the College uniform are exclusively available through the Uniform Shop. All Students Sports Uniform Navy sports shirt Navy shorts Sports cap Navy tracksuit pants Navy sports jacket White socks visible above the ankle White lace up sport shoes not canvas slip-on shoes Students representing the College on any formal occasion, for example, Opening School Mass, Parent Teacher nights, Presentation nights, Graduations etc. are expected to be in full school uniform including the College blazer. JEWELLERY COLLEGE UNIFORM CODE: GENERAL UNIFORM Jewellery is not to be worn except for the following: Earrings: girls may wear one pair of plain gold or silver studs or sleepers in the lower part of their ear, one earring in each ear only. Clear plastic studs or band aids covering piercings are not acceptable in other places. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings or clear plastic studs. Other forms of body piercing are not permitted as part of the College Uniform Code. Rings: senior students may wear one small ring, appropriate for wearing with school uniform. If a chain is worn, it should be worn inside the school shirt so as not to be seen. Any jewellery which is confiscated will be returned to the student at the end of the term or immediately to a parent. A parent wishing to personally collect confiscated items must first contact the Assistant Principal to arrange a suitable time to do so. The College does not accept responsibility for any confiscated items. HAIR Hair styles are expected to be reasonably conservative and guided by common sense. Unacceptable styles include undercuts, tails, steps, lines, number 1 and number 2 cuts. This list is not exhaustive. Seek clarification from Year Coordinator if unsure. Hair should be of a natural, conservative colour. No excessive or obvious use of gel or inappropriate styling. This includes non cultural braiding and excessive fringes. In complying with OHS legislation, girls hair which is longer than collar-length must be tied up and back and secured with a blue ribbon or clip. If a headband is worn it should be no wider than 3cm and should be blue. For boys, hair is to be neat, tidy, off the ears and no longer than collar-length. It should be of a consistent length throughout. If you have any doubts, please discuss it with the Year Coordinator or Assistant Principal first. In the final instance, decision on whether a hairstyle is appropriate for school will be at the discretion of these members of staff. 10

SCHOOL BAGS All students are to have a College bag and College sport bag. OTHER Make-up is NOT permitted to be worn at school. Students will be asked to remove it immediately. For safety reasons, nails are to be kept short. Nail polish is not permitted. Students will be asked to remove it immediately. Boys are to be clean shaven each day. Tattoos are not permitted STATIONERY Stationery items can be purchased in the uniform shop. Calculators, Bibles, USBs, exercise books etc. UNIFORM FITTINGS Uniform fittings will take place by appointment only for new students in December and January for summer uniforms and March and April for winter uniforms. Year 10 students going into senior uniform in Term 4 will be fitted at the end of Term 3. All uniform fitting appointments are booked online at these times.
