ADMISSION - 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & FEE STRUCTURE 1. M. PHIL PROGRAM (BASIC SCIENCES) Sixteen years of Schooling or 4 years education (124 Cr Hr) after HSSC/F.Sc./Grade 12. Must pass GAT General Test conducted by NTS within a year. Must pass entrance test ( 50%) which includes protocol writing test. Sindh Domicile I. For those undertaking program in Histopathology, Hematology, Chemical Pathology and Medical Microbiology and Pharmacology eligibility is MBBS/BDS with one year house job. II. III. For those undertaking program in Molecular Pathology the eligibility is MBBS / BDS with one year house job / M. Sc./ BS in Medical Science Technology (1st division) in a discipline of Health & Allied biomedical sciences from HEC recognized University. For those undertaking program in Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Biotechnology, Medical Molecular Biology, Molecular Medicine & Bioinformatics the Eligibility is MBBS/BDS with one year house job / M.Sc. (1st division) in a relevant discipline of Health & Allied Biomedical, Chemical and Physical Sciences from HEC recognized University. 2. MASTER IN DENTAL SURGERY (MDS) BDS or Equivalent recognized by PM & DC. One Year House Job. Valid PMDC Certificate. Lab Charges (Per Semester) Rs. 10,000/- 3. MASTER IN PUBLIC HEALTH (MPH) Application for admission in this program must have MBBS from a recognized institution and one year house job. The individual having 4 years bachelor s degree in a discipline related to health sciences or statistics from an accredited institution, approved by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan can also apply. The fields other then medicine include; biology, dentistry, nursing, health science, veterinary sciences, psychology, biostatistics. MASTER IN BIOSTATISTICS & EPIDEMIOLOGY (MSBE) Application for admission in this program must have a 4 years bachelor s degree in a discipline related to health sciences or statistics from an accredited institution, approved by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
