I am in a full-time teaching position focused on making mathematics understandable, applicable, and enjoyable to the students. I Believe For me, in each task that must be done, there is opportunity. Projects/Assignments Undertaken 1. I have written a Mathematics Practice book for class IX and X, published by J. K. Publishers, Delhi. The books contain Practice material, sample papers and a separate section on non-routine math Olympiad problems. 2. I have been using Graphic Calculator, a sophisticated scientific calculator used for teaching higher math concepts. Also, I am quite comfortable in using mathematics software programs such as geometers sketchpad, winplot, Mathematica Player etc. to demonstrate basic to advanced concepts in mathematics. Presently, I am learning latest version of Graphic Calculator TI 90 Inspire CAS by Texas Instruments. 3. I was invited by Management education and research institute (MERI) as an expert to assist Sh. S. N. Chibbar in an interactive session with teachers on topic Setting Math Lab in schools. 4. I have given a presentation on Various Mathematics Laboratory Activities at S. D. Public School, Pitam Pura, organized by CBSE. 5. As a coordinator of class X th, I was involved in planning and implementation of various strategies, which could be helpful for students. 6. I am taking extra coaching classes for those students who are preparing for NTSE and similar exams. 7. I have been organizing The Summer Camp in CRPF Public School, which gives an opportunity to students to nurture their talent. 8. I am involved in School Time Table management. 9. I am a school coordinator for CBSE board registrations of the students in class IX and X. 10. Encouraging students to participate in various Mathematics Olympiads. Many of my students have been selected in various such Olympiads. One student of class VI had qualified in first round of prestigious Asia Pacific Math Olympiad and she was invited to Singapore for Final round. 11. Framing challenging problems in mathematics, which could help students to prepare for various competitions and math Olympiads. It is my dream project to write Math Olympiad books for students of classes VI to XII.

12. Preparing PowerPoint presentations to teach mathematics. Also, I have prepared number of transparencies used on OHP to take up interesting concepts and challenging problems in mathematics. Attended three days conference organized by The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India (AMTI) on 28-30 June 2004. 6. Attended two days workshop regarding Mathematics Laboratory in Schools on 08 September and 9 September 2004, organized by Mathematical science foundation, St. Stephen s college. 7. Attended two days workshop on topic Think tank mathematics organized by Aishwarya marketing for Asia Pasic Math Olympiad on 5 March 2005 and 19 March 2005. 8. Attended one day workshop on topic How to set up a Math Lab in your school, organized by Magical Methods on 9 April 2005. 9. Attended a four days programme entitled Development of Textbook in Mathematics at Secondary Stage (class IX) from 24 November 2005 to 27 November 2005, organized by DESM, NCERT. 10. Attended a two days Annual National Progressive Schools Conference (NPSC) held on 24 February and 25 February 2006 in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on the theme Education for Transformation.
