THE APPLIED RESEARCH PROJECT (ARP) Through the applied research project, you take your classroom knowledge into the real world, evaluating the impact of an organization in a given city/country as well as development entities in and outside the United States with the approval and guidance of international development faculty. It is amazing to look back on the ARP and realize that you were involved in each stage of its making: from the survey design, to fieldwork, to data analysis, and then policy recommendations.
