Family Update St. Francis de Sales School To Know, To Love, and To Serve October 9 October 15 October 9, 2015 Dear Parents and Students, One of the many reasons our school is so successful is that we develop and follow a school wide continuous improvement plan. This year we are gathering data to help us develop our next plan. This is one of the reasons the Archdiocese has given us some of our recent testing data and rankings. We are working to gather more data and thoughts about our school. To help us collect data, the Archdiocese has arranged an anonymous parent survey for us. This survey can be reached by using this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/fr7tqft. This link will be active from today, October 9, until Monday, October 19. Please help us improve our school by completing this survey. Thanks to all who assisted with the cookie dough sale. Cookie Dough will be available for pick-up on Thursday, October 15, from 3:00 to 5:00 in the cafeteria. Monday, October 12, is Columbus Day and there will be no school. Enjoy the time with your family. Lebanon City Schools will have special busses on Tuesday for morning and afternoon transportation. A note with the times and bus number was sent home yesterday. Yours in Christ, NOTICE FROM THE SAFE ENVIRONMENT COORDINATOR: If you are not current on your Virtus Bulletins by Tuesday, October 13, your account will be made inactive.

Matthew 25 Last week our 5th-8th grade students participated in service work for Matthew 25 Ministries. They helped to package personal care items for disaster victims and organize donated shoes for distribution to the needy. They were given a tour of the facility to see examples of how their service directly impacts the needy around the world. Matthew 25 Ministries is an amazing organization whose purpose is "Caring for a needy world with the things we throw away"- Rev. Wendell Mettey. Each time we visit, the students are amazed at their efficiency and organization. If you have not heard of Matthew 25 and all they have to offer, I recommend that you visit www.m25m.org to learn more about this wonderful ministry. It is a great service opportunity for individuals, families and groups.
