Location Erie First Christian Academy is located in Erie, PA, just minutes from the shores of Lake Erie, one of the great lakes of the US. Climate Four distinct seasons. Comfortable autumn and springs, mild summers and cold winters with plenty of snow sports.

History Erie First Christian Academy, (EFCA), was founded as a non-denominational Christian school under the umbrella of First Assembly of God, Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1992. EFCA experienced growth from a elementary school to a K-12 school with its first graduating class in 2006. EFCA provides traditional college preparatory academics, with a full roster of extracurricular and campus activities that can be customized to meet the needs of each student.

Modern School Facilities Modern School Facilities Erie First is a Modern building with large classrooms, gymnasium, soccer fields, indoor and outdoor basketball, and volleyball courts. We offer a modern science, art and computer labs and a multi-million dollar stage/sound system for concert and drama studies or events.

Student Center "The Summit" The building serves as an activities center for the students next to the school with the following amenities: Ultra-modern design Two half-court indoor basketball courts Multimedia theatre with over $600,000 invested in audio-visual equipment On-site student-run café Study rooms TVs equipped with video game systems Ping pong and pool tables

Dorm Facilities Modern facility built in 2010 with large activities center completed in 2012. The dorm features: Large rooms with private bathrooms Several common areas for student studies High speed Internet Kitchen and snack area open 7 days a week Activities center with workout equipment, TV's/Gaming, Ping Pong and Pool Tables Very secure area with cameras, 24-hour security and staff on-site Our housing facility is open the entire school year with employees who are able to take students to any activity or school event. We have eight kitchen staff to prepare food and serve outstanding meals. Our head chef is recognized as a top chef in our region. Tutors and Teachers are available on-site at the dorm to assist students with ESL and homework.

Dorm Facilities & Home Stay Dormitory & Activity Center Amenities in the dormitory consist of double occupancy rooms (each with their own bathroom), 16 CCTV Cameras, 24/7 supervision/security, on-site faculty and tutors, a basketball court, a full kitchen, free laundry, multiple LCD TVs with video games, and much more. The new Activity center was completed in 2012 with ping pong tables, work out fitness equipment, treadmills, and lounge area for the students. The boarding students live in the new modern dorm facility located just 5 miles from the Academy in historic Waterford PA. Home Stay If the parent wishes to have their child in home stay we work with the parent and student to find the best match based on the students interests. Many students remain in the dorm due to the supportive atmosphere and structure.

Accreditation Erie First Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We are also accreddited by Qisan - Quality International Study Abroad Network. Academic Programs Dual Enrollment Twenty nine total advanced course offered. Honors courses offered on campus. Students wishing to take Dual Enrollment courses must apply into the RCI (Regional Choice Initiative) program with Gannon University. Only juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.25 GPA are permitted to take the courses, (Specific GPA and other conditions are dependent on year of enrollment). The 15 courses include: Environmental Issues Introduction to Criminal Justice Human Biology Foundations of Western Heritage Introduction to Law College Composition History of the West & the World Introduction to Philosophy Introduction to Psychology Psychology of Human Development Sports Psychology EFCA provides traditional college preparatory academics, with a full roster of extracurricular and campus activities that can be customized to meet the needs of each student.

Social Life Students can enjoy many local activities such as Airsoft, Bowling, Boating, Fishing, Ice Skating, Shooting Sports, Skiing, Laser Tag, Paintball, Horseback Riding, Golf, Swimming, Shopping, Travel, and Interscholastic Sports. Students Attend Concerts, School Dances, Professional Athletic Events, Camps, Sports Outings and much more.

High School Sports Erie First competes in the PA Interscholastic Athletic Association, (PIAA) league. We offer Competitive teams both in varsity and junior varsity level. Competitive sports creates qualities in its participants that translates into success in all areas of life.
