LITTLE MBA The little MBA programme will enable the students to choose a micro organization or SME to implement their ideas and conceptual learning happened in the class. A group of four or five students form as a learning group to reap the benefits of collaborative learning for the mutual benefit. In addition to Local Industrial visits Students also go for Interstate Industrial Tour PROFESSIONAL BODIES Synergy encourages the students to take the membership with the professional bodies such as Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), HRD network, AIMS etc. PROJECTS AND SUMMER INTERNSHIP Students have to undergo 8-10 weeks of rigorous internship in the industry to understand the shop floor activities and gain practical experience. At the end of the project students submit a dissertation to the school for valuation of the report. FINISHING SCHOOL The final placement is determined by his knowledge and skill. MAGAZINE AND JOURNAL REVIEW SESSIONS (MAJORS) Review of magazines and journals compels the students to acquire current knowledge and disseminate the knowledge build competency INFRASTRUCTURE Learning environment at Synergy is conducive, meeting all the requirements of a modern day teaching-learning phenomenon. The school provides a variety of facilities, comprising large lecture theatres, syndicate room besides extensive space where students can study and circulate. All the students and faculty will join hands with the SPRING to undertake qualitative research in the form of publications in journals of repute and help in policy making of the government and non government agencies. SYNERGY KNOWLEDGE INITIATIVES FOR LEADERSHIP AND LEARNING (SKILL). The objective of SKILL is to promote corporate training. TEACHING & BEYOND FACULTY Dr. NRK Reddy Ph.D. Dr.Reddy holds Masters in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from Osmania University. He earned his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the same university. He taught at Loyola Academy, Hyderabad and later worked for 12 years at Siva Sivani Institute of Management. He served as a director at Siva Sivani for many years. Dr. Reddy taught at James Cook University, Singapore., Later, he became the Director, Business Studies at Singapore institute of Commerce, Singapore. Dr. Reddy has taught business programmes of some of the reputed universities in the world. To name a few, Victoria University, New Castle Business School, Flinders' University, apart from the prestigious London School of Economics programs. After his return from Singapore, he joined Aurora's Business School as a Director. Dr. Agna Dr. Agna did her doctoral program from XLRI, Jemshedpur. She specialized in HR and behavioral sciences area. She has acquired her masters in Commerce from Bharathidasan University and bachelors from Holy Cross, Trichy. She has over 20 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Training and consulting in various organizations of repute. She conducted many training programs at Dr Reddy's labs, Hyderabad. Currently Dr Agna is a an adjunct professor at synergy. SYNERGY Dr. Sri Hari Krishna, Ph.D. Dr. Hari acquired his Masters in Finance and Accounting and Ph.D. from Osmania University. Dr. Hari specializes in Financial Markets. He has over 15 years of experience both in industry and teaching. He worked with GE Money, Siva Sivani, ICFAI, etc. Mr. Jagan Mohan TM, B.Tech., PGDM, IIM(A) Mr. Jagan acquired his Masters from IIM(A) in 1977. Later, he joined IDPL Ltd. Subsequently joined Novopan India Pvt. Ltd., and Sanghi Industries as Executive Director. Jagan is a student-friendly teacher and his sessions are fully packed with live examples. Jagan brings 30 years of his experience to the classroom, coupled with 10 years of teaching experience in renowned B-Schools across the country. Jagan specializes in Marketing and Strategy. Currently, Jagan is an adjunct Professor at SSB. Dr. VVK Mohan, Ph.D. Dr. Mohan acquired his Masters from Indian Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) a reputed Business School. He earned his Ph.D. in Business from Osmania University. Dr.Mohan specialized in Marketing, Research, Self-analysis and Personal Effectiveness. His psychometric tools help students understand and analyze themselves so as to initiate corrective mechanisms. Dr. Mohan carries 30 years' experience to the classroom. Prof. Vrajesh Kumar Prof vrajesh kumar earns his masters in industrial management from New Jersey University, USA. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching, training, in both academics and industry. He specialized in the areas of HR and operations management. Prof. P. Ravi Kumar Prof P. Ravi kumar holds a masters degree in commerce and has over 15 years of experience in academics and industry. He specialized in the areas of accounting and finance. Applicants must have a bachelor s degree from a recognized university from India or abroad. Consideration is based on an individual application, admission test scores, group discussion, and a personal interview. Criteria for selection include the applicant s potential for success at senior management levels and the ability and motivation to participate in a rigorous and intensive course of study while employed. The candidates have to apply for admission through a prescribed application. The application can be downloaded from www.ssb.edu.in. The filled in application has to be sent to the city office along with an application fee of Rs. 1000 in the form of DD-drawn in fovor of Synergy School of business payable at Hyderabad. Alternatively, it can be submitted in the city office along with DD/Cash. Upon receipt, the applicants will be invited for a group discussion and personal interview. Candidates will be informed of their selection position within a week from the date of GD & PI.
